Not sure why this surprised me. I was actually on there because another dog from Lexie's kennel was on kijiji. The person who took her is rehoming her so I was curious to see what had happened as I know she went to a breeder but never produced a litter. Very nice Neo by the way, had the old time neo look to her. Anyway, when I went on, I was browsing all the Mastiff ads and found a litter of Tibetan Mastiffs. http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-pets-dog...f-Puppies-W0QQAdIdZ446458181QQfeaturedAdZtrue. Don't see them too often (actually I have never seen an ad for one before today).

I can honestly say I've never seen a TM, much less pups, on Craigslist either. I'm sure it happens, but I've never seen it....at least its not "gentle giants" or some similer stupidity....

"Chinese Prefered" makes me wonder if they're actual Chinese imports, which makes me wonder what health testing was done, cause I know SEVERAL USA breeders who've considered getting their hands on a Chinese pup but there's so little health testing done that they're not sure its worth the money.....

Hmmm....they're awfully cute though. I can agree I've never seen TMs on CL ever. Hell I've never even seen one in Texas. Not saying they don't exist but haven't seen one.

I was thinking the same.......

My sister in law is from China. If I was interested in bringing home a TM, I would have her call the breeder on my behalf to find out. I love the look of TM's but my husband doesn't like long haired breeds...I think he secretly fears them because of his allergies.

You know northern I have less allergy issues with long hair dogs than short hair. I kept getting hives when I first brought Duchess home but now I don't anymore.

Yeah, my husband is the reverse. We tried it. He has no problem with short hair and can barely breathe with long hair. He can bury his face in Daisy's coat and not experience anything but Petey will have his eyes swelling up. I know it is supposed to be dander so I am not sure how it works.

He might not have a problem with TMs, though the only way to try is to tell. But they don't shed or have other coat 'issues' that everyone associates with long coated dogs.

I have a question and forgive me if this comes off as ignorant, but if english isnt your first language wouldnt it PREFERABLE to get a text or email so you can run it through a translator? BTW those puppies are just ridiculously cute

Yes and no, that assumes tech competancy, and thats not as universal as eceryone tends to assume, and has nothing to do with country of origen.

And TM pups usually are.

I think my other question, after health testing, would be working line or 'lion coat' line.....

I searched using search tempest within 1000 miles. I got 3 pages and all 3 were flaged and removed. Tn, Tx, and a hybrid TM in NJ

I just have to convince him of that. Not too many TM's around me...well, I could go see those ones, so he could meet them.

Just east of Syracuse NY. Last time someone made a run to TO I think it was 4 hrs give or take, though bridge traffic varies.....
