Yeap, when they hired me they told me I was on their first rollover on a 3 year contract. Yet the contract ends July 2013, doesn't make much sense to me.....but its part of the business environment.

I was laid off after 11 years with my co. Hell I even had to train the people that too my job!

I work for a government contractor but not on contract. Our company has many contracts with the Navy/Coast guard/Army so I have been blessed with never having to worry about the end of a contract but I have several friends that are "contracted" and have seen them go through A LOT. We do hire contract workers here (Those hired for a specific contract) and it is the hardest thing to see them fretting and hoping that we are awarded the contract at the next bid.

I'm trying to get back in the system, the base I was at closed due to BRAC. I got lucky and found a job here two months later. Trying to crack that code. I get nibbles here and there, but nothing solid.

no no no......NO MODS!!! for that group thats the whole point of having a seperate section is for. we are all adults and do not need babysitting, freedom of speach people. If you dont want to be offended, STAY OUT OF THE SECTION plain and simple, so easy a caveman can do it :razzberry:

We need a mod in there. We cannot have a section that's completely unmodded. There will be limited rules however if the section does come to be.

How does this sound. This is just an example. How would you feel if someone said "I will find your address, come to your house, and murder your family!!!"... Think that should be modded?

There needs to be limited rules. There needs to be someone to enforce those.

And as someone who did receive death threats from a member before I was a mod, I appreciated the mods ability to get rid of the jerk.
