I want to thank you for taking Tank in and giving him a home no matter what the outcome is. You are giving him an amazing home full of love. Last Fall I rescued a emaciated Pit bull Tosa Inu mastiff pup who had a serious heart condition. She passed away at 10 months old last September from a heart attack, but having her in my life was the most rewarding experience that dog lived a life full of adventure of fun up until the day she died. I miss her everyday, but I know she lived life to the fullest.

I will be praying and sending the most positive vibes your Tanks way :)

Good to hear Tank is doing better and may be heading home soon. YAHOOOOO!!!!! I'm sorry to hear about your rescued pup, HayleyMarie. Thank you for rescuing as well. If more people could rescue, we'd have fewer dogs in the shelter provided we stop BYB's, puppy mills and people neutered/spayed their pup or be responsible owners if not neutered/spayed.

Thanks guys!! :) We'll be picking up sometime this evening, around 5-6ish. HayleyMarie-I'm sorry to hear about your pup's passing, but that is so great that you took her in. Even if she only got to enjoy life for a short time, at least she still did! I'd like to thank you for rescuing as well. Like musicdeb said, it's ashame that there aren't more people that could rescue and that there are so many dogs in shelters to begin with. It really is ashame. But I will always adopt and am proud to adopt!!

It'll definitely be an interesting week trying to keep Tank confined to one room and off the hard floors. And NOT following our every move lol, BUT worth it! Can't wait to go pick him up tonight!!

Well, Tank is home! I don't think he could have been any more excited and happy to see us! They brought him out and he like charged us and he's rubbing against us and really seemed eager to be leaving with us again.

He gets his drain out next week and his stitches come out in 17-21 days. He's on pain meds that will hopefully make him loopy and sleepy. He's already a little wobbly.

Here's some more precious pictures of him I just have to share! :D

I'm so glad he is back home! Look at that beautiful boy. Shower him with love and kisses. When do you get the other test results?

Yay! Glad he's home! He looks thrilled! I know the pain meds I took after surgery made me loopy so tank should have no problem getting some rest.

Well right now he's laying down and I'm trying to get up as little as possible so he doesn't try to follow anyone out of the living room. It's all bedded down and blocked off per vet's orders.

tb44-we should be getting test results back probably by tuesday, fingers crossed! But so far he seems to be in good spirits!

He probably thought he was being left again, and when you came back for him he knew his FAMILY loves him. I'm sure the only thing that would make him happier right now is to have you sleep with him lol! I'm so glad he is home and happy with his family. ;)

Hehe, thanks guys! Great news-his biopsy results came back, NO CANCER! :) Woohoo! My mom took our other dog to the vet today so she was able to get results. Very happy for the big guy!

In other good news-we were out of the house for a few hours today and nothing was torn apart! So he seems to do good when we're out which we were hoping for. Also, his stitches haven't come out yet and look 10x better than they did when they were done at the spca.
