OK so now that I am officially a size queen :p how much does that handsome boy weigh?

I don't know how much he weights right now. We haven't had him near the vet's office/scale since early May. Our guesstimate is about 165 -170ish. He goes back in next month for booster shots so should get a weight then.

What a handsome Sir! I love these posts that are keeping track of the dog's lives. It really is something how one can watch em grow post by post. It's also sort of sad, they'll never be those lil puppies they were when we brought them home. Thanks so much for sharing and keep us posted.

Thanks he is a handsome doofer. They do grow up so fast! Each stage has been fun and at times frustrating. Mastiff's are truly like no other dog. They have such distinct personalities. :)

!

Thanks for the morning laugh CR! I'd have to drag my butt off the chair to "helicopter parent" him! :D I'm recovering from an abdominal surgery and slow moving - much to Angus's delight. He's taken advantage of my condition to do things he knows he shouldn't and then run off - I'm the strict/consistent puppy parent. Hubby took him to feed store last night for an outing and Angus marked a pallet of bird feed and straw bales on the way into the store! I think both Angus and dear Hubby are in need of a refresher training course. I'm sure I'll hear about it next time I'm in there - small towns!

How about I zap him over for the day and he can "help" you?
Was your surgery due to hovering all day? ,)

Hope you are healing well. I've had my fair share of abdominal surgeries myself, the healing is never fun.

By all means send that poor boy to me.
I have plenty of chickens

It's so true! They are each so very unique. It's a lot of fun getting to experience those shifts in personality as they grow too. Good thing you can work through most of the "frustrating" stuff. Personally they seem very receptive to change and eager to please, very smart, sometimes stubborn. I've had the easiest time with the leash with EM's compared to most other dogs. Just gotta love em lol.
