More growth data for my boy Chewy. Though, as I mentioned before, he is a mutt, not a purebred, so I don't really expect him to get as big as the others on this forum. That said, he is pretty big. Also, he is turning into an amazing little guy. He goes everywhere with me, loves people, and loves to play with other dogs. His stubborn nature is less apparent and he can be walked without a lead (though I mostly use one!). He comes when called, sits, lays and stays. I can easily remove bones and food from his mouth, as can all members of the family. He has trust and loyalty. He is pretty remarkable because he is confident now without being aggressive, which is always my goal. Nothing seems to bother him. When a ballon popped next to him yesterday (my son's birthday) he simply spun around to look. It did not really startle him. This is my first experience with a Bullmastiff mix and I am very impressed.

I've been weighing Mason sporadically for the last couple of months. Haven't weighed him on a Wednesday though, so I feel like it's not "official" enough to post. He's 112.6 today. Will try to remember to weigh him again this Wednesday. I'm so OCD. LOL

Lol. Mason's growth has slowed down to a crawl too. I haven't measured him in a while, but I'm pretty sure I have a dwarf. :p I kid, he's right where he should be at for his breed...probably close to or at 25. Just used to standing next to a 28" GSD.

Thanks for the bump, will help me remember to record his weight today!

Yeah, my Dobe is 29" at the shoulder, but about the same at the butt as Branka lol... she's got about 15lbs on him though, much wider.

Yeah these kids are SOLID! My GSD was a 90lb waif by comparison.

Chewy keeps growing. But I am falling behind in my updates. So, here is the latest, and I'll do another weigh-in tomorrow...he really seems bigger to me right now. Every morning he has been sharing a rope toy with my pit-mix, and he pulls her around the room. It is hilarious! I hope to be awake enough to capture it on film.

11 weeks 29.5lbs

He seems, still, to consistently gain 3 pounds each week. I know it will taper off soon, cause he can't stay on that trajectory much longer. He is a big lanky boy.

This is a great chart 'cause it tells me the weight gain will likely begin to turn at about 28 weeks. I would like to curve fit the data I have on my dog, but I need to know that turn in the curve. My dog is at 22 weeks tomorrow, so I still appear to be on the linear rise of the weight gain curve. Thanks for posting this!

Now, I am a scientist, but I did not see how one can create an image file that accompanies your log-in name! How do you do it!

The avatars under our names? (if not disregard the following lol)

Go to the tab at the top that says "forum actions" then click "edit profile" the in the new window on the left hand side you should see a link that says "edit avatar"

bruce is 27 weeks old and is 69.9 lbs and 22 in tall.....any guesses on how big he will be full grown???

That's about the same as Branka was at that age. She's 13.5 months now and about 105lbs and 25.5" I'm thinking she'll top out at 115lbs and 25.5-26" max... but who knows!?
