Howdy folks! I posted this in the wrong section before so here I am again.
Ellie is a 3 year old intact female Bullmastiff. She has experience in the show world and has won some ribbons. She has been partially trained as a service dog as well. Her history is very straight-forward, no abuse, wonderful with all people and children, gets along with dogs of all sizes. What I've been told is that her parents came on to some hard times and were forced to rehome her immediately as they were evicted from their home. Ellie is currently being fostered by a friend who has 2 little dogs and a full grown male mastiff as well, so she is eager to find her a good forever home soon as she doesn't really have the space for another mastiff.
The lady fostering her is not looking for any $$, just someone who will commit to giving Ellie a forever home. And preferably that someone should have experience with mastiffs. She has been approached by a few of her own friends, but she is being very picky about who she goes to as she knows the novelty of owning a big beautiful dog can go away quickly for some people once they realize the $$ that goes along with that big beautiful dog. She would prefer to keep her in Oregon...but if it's to the right person I imagine she'll see reason. (she just wants her close so she can visit lol).
One other thing, Ellie is fully papered and the owner will give those papers to her new owner as soon as she is spayed. She is very concerned that because of her history in the show world that someone will just get her to breed the crap out of her. So no papers until she is spayed.
