I HATE THE SADDLE question! It drives me crazy.

Them guessing 100lbs confuses me the most but yeah... It was mildly funny the first couple times I was asked about the saddle but after 1,000 it's gotten really really old. ROFL

Of course it amuses me to no end to answer the "what breed is he"? with chihuahua or pug but usually chihuahua. :)

Same here. Also 'why aren't you riding him?'
The one possible benefitting of Kryten not being able to really go anywhere right now is that I don't have to listen to people think their being clever and funny with stupid comments like those.

I think alot of people are shocked at the size and just say the first thing that comes to them. I do think that being the owner of a EM and seeing them everyday that we forget just how big they really are. I get reminded every time I see our Golden walk under Gus's belly to get somewhere just how big he is :) and I used to think that the Golden was a pretty big dog.

I have owned big boys my entire life, to me they aren't really big, just normal. We have a vet check today at 4, and I already dred the usual comments from people. What is that? Do you ride him? OMG What does he eat? (The last time I replied, little tiny dogs... to a yorkie owner, that did not go over well). My vet says I am the one with the size perspective issue not her other clients!

Cruiser was being silly and rolled over with his big feet in the air and belly up which is unusual and we noticed a little dark colored growth around one of his nipples. I am not happy about it and a bit scared, other wise it is routine vacs! I have a feeling we have gone over the 200lb mark.

I have gotten the "that dog is going to eat you" comment from ankle biter owners. I usually tell them that yappy dogs are no longer on the menu, that is how she got so big, LOL

People always ask me " What kind of dog is it , a Pit Bull ?" I always reply " It is a designer breed . It is a cross between a Mexican Chihuahua and a English Mastiff . It is called an English Chihuahua " .

Thanks! He is one big baby! I was pleased to find on his vet visit that he is holding his weight, we are trying to stablize it, I don't want him topping the 200 mark!
