Em's grow at different rates. My pup at 9 weeks outweighed the runt of the litter by 8 lbs! I have been able to keep in touch with two people that have Cruiser's siblings and at 10 months they are all about the same size. My suggestion for anyone getting an em pup is to visit several times prior to birthing and after birthing. Ask questions about anything you want to know, feeding habits, living conditions, etc. Request vet records, copies of vaccinations, worming, etc. I require both the sire & dam to be pretested for cystinuria, pra and negative hips. My vet calls and discusses the medical history of the dam before I take home the pup & confirms a vet check has been done on the pup. If your breeder is not open to site visits, questions or vet interactions there may be an issue they are not willing to uncover. A good breeder should be concerned about her pups and their futures and should be open to all questions. Prestesting can save you loads of money and heartbreak in the future!
