I don't mean to make light of this, but it sounds similar to Turner and Hooch. I hope it works out for this big guy... That would be a damn shame.

Here is what someone that went after him said:

This guy was NOT exaggerating! I have worked with dogs ALL my life and have NEVER seen anything like this before. The dog is in a huge fenced backyard and he has claimed it as his own. When he saw me on the deck, which is about 8 feet up, he tried to climb the lattice to get to me. He was growling and snarling and I could tell he meant business! He was biting the rails on the deck and trying squeeze through them even though they were only 8" apart. I tried to wear him down by running along the OUTSIDE of the fence but I was exhausted and he was only getting angrier. We tried a pole noose and he snatched it out of our hands, got it from around his neck and chewed the metal pole into several pieces! I told the homeowner that he is probably going to have to drug this dog to get him somewhere. I just feel sorry for the person in the room with him when he comes to! He must weigh 200 pounds and is solid muscle. Good luck to ANYONE brave enough to try and tame him.

he's really a beautiful Neo...Hope someone can try and help. Doesn't sound like the people he stays with are very friendly to him.

sad and scary :( i remember the first Neo I saw. beautiful dog, but it was in a fenced in area inside a fenced yard. The girl that lived there came outside and I asked if he was friendly. she straight up said "no". The second Neo I met tried to bite Stellas face off (Stella was only 4 months old). Both dogs were in the wrong hands if you ask me.

You have to go the slow way. and ever so slowly get closer and NO TOUCH NO TALK NO EYE CONTACT. he doesnt trust humans at all . so if you want this guy you have to rebuild the bond. This guy has to feel like hes not being threatened. whats really sad is this guy is 200lbs of pissed of gorrilla. So its a long slow process just getting him out of the back yard.

on a side note a few of you know that in my previous years, i would not have hesitated to walk in that back yard and take care of the guys missery. But the older i am getting the softer my heart is getting. someone needs to help here, and preferably a neo or fila person.
