Yeah I agree with today's mastiff's probably not, but being that there's so many types out there surely there is something?

NWDA is designed for the Mollossar & bull breeds .. So yes one has been created in the protection world

Tiger, just an FYI really I won't need to apology for when I put titles on my dogs bc I have out titles in many many different sports Presas were not doing. I'm not gonna put you down like you seem to want to put down folks who work hard to do things with there dogs.

Don't bother saying anything back but I don't need negativity in my life bc I know what I have proven!

I have a saying .. I have Malinois to take me place and I have Presas to prove it!!

And put you down lol I think you should get thicker skin if your going to survive in protection sports... and I applaud any and all effort to title mollosser....a matter of fact I try and do the same... I know some big names in Presa who also title but what I'm saying is true...they know it and I think that everyone who reads this should also know they shouldn't grab a mastiff and hope to have some pro sport dog that's all I've said and will continue to say..I've never been one to pull punches a lot will attest I tell it how it is and I don't want people who don't know dogs to come on here and buy a Em trying to title in PSA.....

Don't worry Hun I have thick skin been around dogs and the dog world a long time. I never said they can do it all but they can do it.
I also stated larger breeds wouldn't be able to. Go back and read.
I never said you were wrong bc I have seen many Mollossars, bull breeds etc not able too. But I have also have seen, heard etc and they do.
The ONLY breed perfect for protection sports is Malinois .. I know that and this is why I have them too.

As far as Schutzhund goes, I want to learn as much as I can and have already met someone from our local club who's a decoy. I would never use a DDB in Schutzhund though. My goal is to learn as much as I can from these guys but truly doubt I would take it to the next level as far as competition. level 1 and 2 are phrases that I've encountered that refers to a dogs level of protection. I see some DDB's being successful at level 1 and 2 but nothing more. level 1 is basic alert, perimeter checks when given verbal commands and Level 2 is actual protection where the dog bites the decoy when on a leash.COLOR="Silver"]

Awesome you wanna learn .. In all my years of decoying I never heard anyone call it level 1/2 so new one to me.

You're right; they don't use those terms in Schutzhund. I heard it from K-9 Academy. It's a dog training school in Riverside, CA. The owners work with police depts. in both Riverside and LA County. But they're not the Schutzhund Club I was talking about. They'reouyt of Fontana, CA.

Aw ok but even with the police dept I have never heard it so it must be something they use.
I have decoyed for a few police depts bc of the trainers I was working with.

Oh believe me you'll have quite a few .. I use to have my starting on video but its now gone from my move .. I use to watch it like a comedy
I was the first to say I messed up ..

One big advice I can give video the hell out of all you do & make a note book and write your questions, advice and things you see others do. It has helped me out greatly ..
