'Ginormous' crate

When we got Chica a good friend gave me her late dane's crate. There is plenty of room in there for sure! And as for using it as a piece of furniture we put plywood on it and use it for the plants. Lol

It's gets the sun mid afternoon which all the dogs like to bask in. All three can fit though I do not allow Chica and Sonny to ever be in together. Poor Sonny:( lol

That's the crate we have too. The only thing I don't like about ours is that it's not foldable. It sets up with pins in the corners and that makes it less stable than my old crate. It's harder to move without coming partially apart.

Wow. I just followed the Petco link. I got ours at Petsmart for under $140 on sale.

This is when you start replacing furniture with dog crates, lol. We had crates in multiple rooms when Lillie was little, so she could still be with us if we couldn't watch her closely. I just put a veri kennel at the end of the couch instead of the side table, worked perfectly!

Ha - glad I'm not the only one who has done that! We actually gave in bought a wooden crate at Petco about 5 years ago and still use it as side table. With the even door closed nobody notices.
