I have a few, lol. One of my favorites would be my Garand. I need to buy some more land around here, not too many places to shoot.

That's one of my boyfriend's favorite hobbies, so we have quite a few in the house. I couldn't even begin to tell you what we even have, my brain tends to glaze over every time he goes on and on about them, lol. Just never been a big interest for me. For his peace of mind, I do keep some variety of Glock of his choosing at my bedside for when he works nights.

I prefer these guys as my first line of defense!

Sig's are nice. I had one,but it was stolen along with two others when we were stationed in TX. I do like a nice .45 though. :)

I like it :) small enough to conceal but big enough to matter haha. Stinks yours was stolen! People are ridiculous. I've only shot .45 a few times, but we recently added a couple to the collection...a couple of 1911s.

Between Titan and your gun, no one is gonna mess with you!

I don't have any guns of my own, but have some very fond memories of going out shooting with my dad. :)
:) I say, "Titan may start it but I will finish it." *winking*

When we're walking at the park, he's my eyes and ears. When he stops to look into the woods and continues to do so, I go into the orange zone and get my gun ready to pull if I have to. He did that the other morning. I couldn't see anything but he kept stopping and turning around and looking. He did it 3 times. I couldn't see anything. After we walked away from the wooded area, he stopped turning around. My adrenaline was going and I was ready.

What you described is one of the reasons we love our Filas. We live in a pretty remote are, but rarely have visitors. They have a few levels of alert. The usual bark when they see/hear/smell something...I look. Mot of the time it is a bevy of quail in the back yard; jughead thngs they are trespassing. Veronica only barks to make sure I heard. Then there is the deep bark which usually means someone is walking, riding an ATV on the frontage road about 1/2 mile away. The tail raised, deep bark/growl is the one that gets my full attention, especially at night. I usually head to the door with a bazillion candle power spotlight and my gun of the day.

We installed several game trail cameras on the property. So far no two legged visitors, only wild horses and coyotes.

Oh I love shooting. I'm mobility challenged from autoimmune issues (Remi is in training as a mobility and alert dog as Nessie the golden is 11 @ the end of the month and retiring) I refuse to be a victim and the neighborhood has changed. I have a Ruger LCP 38s designed as a concealed carry handgun. I also have a Ruger 10/22 with a lovely pink wood stock as well as a Mossberg 410 youth model (I have short arms lol) . I've no children in the house so I'm not terribly worried about them falling into the wrong hands. I was taught how to shoot well by the folks that brought me into mastiff ownership.

Mastiffs and guns, what a great combination!
I always figured if we have a home invasion break in that the dogs will keep the bad guys busy giving me time to get to a
A firearm. No children in the house so every bedroom has at least one ready to rumble firearm.

I will admit, with all the firepower I have my favorites always go to the .22's
I have several in bolt,T bolt and semi auto also a couple pistols and they are the most fun to shoot.
I plan on building a couple of AR Carbines this year, one for my oldest son and one for my wife.
She fell in love with my younger sons AR a few months ago, she doesn't like my AR much because it is very heavy, it is set up as a varmit rifle with heavy stock and full 24 inch barrel with large and heavy scope.
My sons is light weight 16 inch barrel with a red dot sight, my wife loved it and shot it very well.

Gun ownership is a little more "challenging" north of the 49th, but not impossible if you don't mind jumping through some hoops. Any fully automatic weapon is a complete no go, and handguns are very restricted as well, but again not impossible to own. My personal favourite there is a Sig Sauer P226, but gotta love firing these big bore guns too just for shits and giggles...on that note a short vid from which the pic above was captured from....

And another of shooting the Desert Eagle .50 : a bit of a bear too, but nothing like the S&W!

Just about to get my new Sig Sauer P250 .40 / 9mm. Thinking about a shoulder rig, as my new and improved soft(er) middle is making anything in the waistband area kinda' a roundabout trip.

I have the same issue also I have narrow hips so belt holsters slide straight down lol.
You might try what I did is a tactical type vest with holster and magazine pockets, you can add additional holsters or pockets as you need or want.
I mean who doesn't want to double carry;)
