EEKKK!! No more labs for me. They're pretty but VERY VERY hyper! My lab was a puppy at heart til he was 7. I went from lab, to rottie, now to EM, lol. Not sure what energy level is right for my family and lifestyle but I keep down grading.

Your dog pics are so sweet! But, I can't imagine having the $2000 to buy a dog and then not having the money to feed it? Or not to take it to a vet? I will just never understand some people I guess.

Really glad you ended up with the guy, he looks well loved and cared for.

They kind of offset each other. Sophie is a bundle of energy so she doesn't let Loki just lay around all day. She definitely thinks she's the boss of him.

Welcome and what a good looking pair! People are surprised when they met Gummy and Morty as they think a lab and a mastiff is a strange combo. But my lab loves giants. His first friends were Berners, St Bernards and Mastiffs.

Welcome! Beautiful dogs! I LOVE labs, husband LOVES mastiffs so for now we have a mastiff! I havent normally been into brindles but I think yours is changing my mind I love the pics of them playing.

Couldn't resist. Had to share my favourite baby photo of Gummy when I brought him home. This was taken on day 2 of having him I think. He ran right over to Morty and hasn't stopped following him since.

LOL That's a cute pic! Looks like a big age difference there. Labs are good dogs to follow. Loki follows Sophie EVERYWHERE! They go nuts if they get separated.

There is quite the age difference. Poor Morty has been through several foster sibs and an insane kuvasz in his life. He's nearly 8 now and Gummy's 17 months. Here's an recent photo of them (taken about a year after the other one--how things change).
