How large is your female EM?

Our Kimber is 2yo and only weighs 99lbs. Her parents were good size at 160 and 220. Everyone always says she is a good size, but I think she was the runt. Has anyone every bred a dog this size before, or do you only breed the bigger ones?

That is pretty small, but could yet fill out and or grow some more

Mouse's mother was quite large. close to 185, but had pups 8 weeks prior so figure her normal weight is around 170-175.

at 100 lbs she doesn't even meet bred standard (27 inches, 150 lbs)she would just create more dogs that would possibly be under the standard. Ive heard breeding mastiffs can be crazy expensive too. just consider if anything did go wrong how much a surgery, medication and such would cost for a dog so big. I wouldn't want to risk it with my dogs

She isn't growing THAT much more after 2yrs of age.

She is what she is ... and that is (hopefully) an awesome pet. What she is not (definitely) is a Mastiff bitch worth breeding. Without even seeing a picture, I can tell you she's WAY undersized (height, length, width, bone density, etc.) for that.

By more I was talking about 15 or 20 pounds, which yes would still be small.
Unless I missed it in my reading, no one has written that she, was going to or should breed her.
Actually I would feel breeding her may cause issues because of her small size, and the chances of issues to the bitch and the pups.

The breeding conversation is in another thread.

My female em is 96.7 lbs at 7 months old, Im sure a lot of that had to do with the dog food growing her too fast problem I had? maybe not she seems huge to me though. We will see how much more she grows.

95lbs at 7mo is not that extraordinary (either way).

One of the female pups we bred (born 2/21/13) just weighed in at 167lbs on her routine vet visit.

They are going to get as big as they're going to get.
