New pics today at 8 weeks, Achim misses his sister so we went outside and played some in the sunshine. I then gave him his new toy and a pizzle, he liked both

Slinger it should be about time for an update of what this pup looks like now, I mean it's been a whole week since you put up any photos of him.... *

Thank you very much.

Donnie yes, the girl in the Avatar is his mother. She is my "Roady" girl that I wanted so badly I drove from Minnesota to Louisiana to get her, lol, my husband just shook his head.

LOL, five hours, that's an afternoon outing!

I actually had a lot of fun, drug my sister-n-law with me and a couple kids and did this epic road trip. She owed me one as several years before I helped her stalk a movie star that was filming on an open set out in California(another story). If I can do that for her (for a move star I could care less about) she darn well can get into a car and go fetch a puppy with me!

I really like the chest and head on that puppy and can't wait to see him a two years old. Do you have a weight on him at ten weeks?

Wow !!!!! He is as big as he looks in the pictures. Awesome puppy, you have to be very proud of him. He looks like he is going to be a great example of what an english mastiff should be. Great job on the breeding to get him. A puppy that looks like that does not happen by accident. I have to admit since I seen your first post of him I have been looking for you to post more pictures of him. Your female really throws herself well into her puppies. You can really see a lot of her in this pup.

Thank you Dale for your kind words. Actually Achim here is average for his age compared to his older full brothers, but I like the way he is put together with his shoulder and chest reflecting that of his mother and grandfather, this is why he is my keeper.

All said and done though, I am standing on the shoulders of some really good breeders who put together the foundation I am using. Selah (avatar) was bred by Natalie Allouche and Deb Pallone. I have admired Deb's dogs for some time, especially the boy Roady (who is a Greiner Hall Jedadiah son, Jed is one of my all time favorites)who was owned by Gloria at Rydalmount, when I had an opportunity to get one of Roady's daughters (he passed in 2004) thru a frozen semen breeding I did everything I could to get her, spent hours talking with her breeders and I am very thankful they entrusted me with her. So while I am indeed pleased with the breeding I couldn't have done it without Pallone, the Napotnik's at Greiner Hall and Linda Greeson, they make up the foundation I am continuing to build upon.

Thank you Donnie, he is a bundle of fun too with his dads' laid back and happy personality, I am hopeful that will stay and then the shows we go to will be that much easier.
