Hello, I'm new to this forum, just joined today. I wanted to introduce myself and our new pup.

We've had a few dogs in the past but this is our first Cane Corso so I thought I'd join the community to share and learn.

I've posted a few pictures of our CC pup here, we named him Midas because he has a heart of gold and he is really kind of gold colored as well, he's 9 weeks old today and we just got a few pictures of him after getting the foam ear trainning thing off his head, his head looks a little funny now but the vet said the hair there will normalize soon enough and tomorrow we take out his sutures.

Thank you everyone for all the compliments and the warm welcome, I'm honored to be a new member of the CC club and look forward to posting many picks and stories as he matures.

So far, and we've only had him about 10 days now but we are very happy with him, he is integrating into our family well and seems to be a very quick learner, he's taken to his routine pretty well and his house training is coming along well, at least most of the time.

His appetite also seems to be pretty good, and in fact he seems to grow overnight! It's like we wake up each morning to a new version of him, I've never had a dog that changed so quickly! Looking at him now he already looks different then the pictures I posted here which are only like 2-3 days old.

Also @Cody, he is from a litter at Liliani's Cane Corso, his mom is Liliani's Vita Bella, she was very well tempered and a beautiful blue brindle I thought, and his father (sire?) is Scandifio's Armani, who I didn't meet because apparently he has long since passed away, but from what I've read online had a very good pedigree and I think Midas' temperment and progress thus far confirms that.

One of my favourite things about him so far, aside from his great little personality is to watch him move, he moves with such a sense of purpose, I don't know how to describe it really, it reminds of how a big cat moves, like a tiger or something, even though he is still very small..lol, but it seems in his own mind he takes himself very seriously indeed!

I thought I was looking at Boone wrong - he does the same thing! I think it's a mastiff thing - I've never seen any other breed do this.

I remember my puppy at 2-3 months walking that way...Even though he was not that heavy, you really could hear him come to you from a big distance...You know the sound of his steps, I have 3 dogs and he was the only one to do that...CC are special ! They rule !
