New Protective behavior in 9 month old puppy

You are so right, bella. People are enthralled with him, they think he's a giant lab, and perhaps because he's a sweet goofy puppy still, he doesn't mind most of the time. We just finished our dog training course, and he was top of the class (just pet training: heeling; sit, stand, down stay, recall). I had an unfair advantage, having gone through the class with three other dogs. He is very easy to train, just not the fastest responder. He eventually obeys.;) I hope one of these links works for a video of Decker:
