Time frame to edit posts

I can understand shortening the time frame with in which we can edit our posts, to many idiots taking advantage of the extra long time. But 1 minute to edit is REALLY short. When I'm on my Ipad I can't even get a basic spelling error corrected in that time frame....

Yeah, yeah. I'm so funny. I will send a message to the powers that be to see if they can extend that a bit. And sorry, Void, I only mean extending the editing time for posts... not anything else.

Naw, just learn to type slower so my fingers can catch up with my brain

Its not an issue when I'm on my computer, but on my phone or ipad things load slower, and typing it slower....

No way to delete a post yourself as certain people start crap then try to delete or edit their posts. Deleting posts also messes with the flow of the forum. Even if someone is no longer a member we will not delete posts.

How about the option to edit more than once? I'm the worlds worst with typing the totally wrong word, or leaving one out completely.. takes a few tries to get it right.

Its not that you can only edit once, its that you only have a minute from the time you posted to do your editing in :/ I'd love to see 5 minutes, that'd be plenty for when I'm using a slower loading, even if I had to go back in more than once cause I can't type.

The edit time was shortened to be consistent with our other forums. It's something that is consistantly abused, therefore, it needs to stay where it is.

And now...can everyone see the edit button? I got a PM informing me that the user could not see the edit button.
