Why do people exaggerate about their dogs?

Yep, typically Americans are taller and Euro's have the stronger build.. but not these two guys. They are both tall & huge.

Bo from the group we meet with, great looking dane..

I have a good friend who has two Danes and she says her boy is 41". I don't believe her, but they've moved across the country so I can't secretly measure him to refute it. :)

Our wee girl has added weight. She was 14.4 on Saturday and was 15 today (Monday) at the vet at 9 weeks plus 2 days! She'll be 10 feet tall and a jillion pounds in a few months!

In the first pic take a look at the foot size on "Bo" verse Tucker..

Tucker is younger & has a bit of chicken legs going on but "Bo's" feet are HUGE.. pictures don't do it any justice.

That's nothing.. there's been 20+ in that room average weight is at least 130+ I figure..

Largest Dane is around the 200 mark, Bo is at about 170/180ish I believe.. there's quite a few youngsters.

That tiny room, lol. Yeah Thor was 200lbs easy going up to 215lbs at one point but I even though he never looked fat I don't like excess weight on these guys.

It's a training room at Pet Smart, larger than you can see but not nearly big enough for 20 large dogs. We typically have 8-12 on Fridays, and it gets tight then. Our EM thinks he is part dane as he's been hanging out with them since he was about 2 months.
