In my opinion any therapy dog is a proper dog. Just look at that smile! The pup is good at it's job:)

So glad to see she is in good spirits and company.

I know right.
She's such a beautiful smile as I'm starting to learn. Not seen it in a long time.

There's a down side to all this though.
She now wants a new dog or a baby.
If it's a dog it's a small one (and we all know that's not happening) and if it's a baby then her Mam best find a new fella cos I'm not doing baby making.

Given those options if say small dogs are not all bad. LOL

Rules have been set down.
She's two small dogs now. One very old. As and when old Max passes (different Max) then we will get her a pup.
But as I'll be paying I think I get final say. And my final say is it's a female mastiff.

Ps. We all know that my final say is just that. MY final say.
It will of course be over ruled by the women in my life. Their say is THE FINAL say.

Now THAT is questionable.

Three weeks ago counting till I get my girls home.

Hotel booked, airport parking sorted and time booked off work. I'm so excited.

Also, as I've said I've been working every hour I can to keep my mind busy and stop me thinking (I'm not very good with emotions and stuff).
The plus side of all these extra hours at work is I've got a surplus £1000.
I've decided £200 will be for all of us to go do something fun, and £800 will hire me and Caroline a country cottage close to the holiday camp where the kids dad takes them every year so that Caitlin can go and Caroline can relax knowing she is close by.

Really bad until a few days ago then suddenly she started feeling a lot better.
I think maybe her last chemo is wearing off.
Either that or the thought of a weekend at universal studios cheered her up a bit.
So lots and lots of photos this last few days and I expect a lot more this weekend.
I'll not lie I find the ones with dad in hard to see, one big happy family. But I know that that's just me so I concentrate on the happy smiling ones.

Only two weeks until they get home and we can start stage three. Hopefully the final step.
When Caroline left we knee it would be three months so we counted the days until we could say only a few weeks. And as of a fee hours ago I've decided to count in days. 13 short days.

The girls have been fishing today and to the movies last night.
Not sure what they'll make of fishing as neither is very out doorsy but I'm sure they'll both enjoy the coast and the 26c temperature.

That's great! What does stage three entail for her?

Stage three is six months to a year of interferon. It's not supposed to be very nice but no more chemo or proton. She can do it.

Apparently fishing was fun but they failed to catch anything but the sun.

Here's the both of them ready for the cinema. You can see the effect the proton is having on her neck.

Aren't they just.
I'm actually starting to thing Caitlin suits her short hair. It will be strange to see it start to grow long again.

Well it seems that we have a little miss Doolittle. Even in the restaurant she finds a pooch to love.

And only slightly more important.

Caitlin graduated from her treatment. She has a few left to go but she had her graduation ceremony the other day.
She had a speech written but her nerves got the better of her so Caroline took over and cried the speech for her. Yes cried, rather than spoke.

Less than a week now until they get home.
I'm so excited.
Go to the kitchen.
Show your dog some chicken.
Watch his reaction.
That's the happy dance I'm doing every day now. Haha.

cj that graduation ceremony ...wow, how beautiful. What a great idea to have one, plus the photos---making it a significant and worthy event. :)

Don't worry- the week will fly by!

Less than a week now.
5 and a half days
Or 4 work days.
I can skew time in my favour.

The girls went on a helicopter ride yesterday and had a great time making happy memories.
That's important because we don't remember the bad stuff in years to come.
I've checked with my old dog walking group and the new play field is dry and firm enough for her wheel chair so we will be going along one Saturday when she is not in hospital.
There are a few people with dogs that that I've got to know well who have agreed to make sure they are there.
I look forward to her being able to walk storm and Ozzy. The two biggest German shepherds I've ever seen but also the calmest and best lead walkers.
