Its gotta be a puppy mill type situation, they just posted that theres even more pups coming.

They also say that at least some of the adults are very sweet tempered and at least one male is to big to ship!

They don't specify. I think it varies depending on what is involved with getting the dog cared for and any transport fees, thats my understanding anyway.

im in love with the idea of sweet tempered adults, even after coming from who knows where... this is crazy that suddenly they are so "on the radar". i hope they all go to wonderful homes and that soon we see pics of new rescued babies all over here!!!

Awww, looks like we were too late. They posted they already have found homes for all the puppies.

I hope this isn't becoming a trend, at wolfstock recently, I saw a person trying to unload what seemed to be 4 tm pups with his fancy colored phamplets. *Too small for their vaccines but sitting on a sidewalk that hundreds of dogs have walked and some yes went poo around the fair too, so Not to safe for the unvaccinated small pups. * They seemed a little small but def china tm head not USA etc. *One only had one eye.......we did not stop and talk to him but I know he noticed us as he pointed over to my husband,me and our tm. I tried to get my husband to go over and speak with him in Cantonese(to find out more) but he wouldn't as he did not want to encourage him at all he said.
I also saw too red tms recently in petsmart also imported for breeding, I spoke to this fella. *I live in one of the heaviest Chinese populated place in Canada and recently just went from seeing no TM for more than 30 years to this. *I hope there popularity over thee won't ruin the breed. My area is full of back and forth shipping and people that live half a year in both countries which is no problem if it was people really trying to better the breed but seems not everyone is.* Also the prices are just insane. Like 5 times more than what I paid or you would pay in the USA for one of the main breeders.

DoggyHelp, unfortunetly, with the popularity of the breed in Asia its likely to continue to be a problem. After all, "Americans are rich and stupid and will pay lots of money for the dogs!"

BullyHillMamma, keep in mind that even a sweet tempered TM isn't an EM in temperment by any stretch, but yah, I'm delighted that at least some of the dogs have temperments such that it'll be easier to find omes for!

I emailed and sent an app by the site. So only time will tell. I'll keep an eye on their facebook for sure. That is a ton of puppies they have coming in.

Confirmed more dogs and pups headed for rescue as soon as they can make or find space.

Confirmed essentially puppy mill dogs. Dogs were imported to be bred repeatedly (and were) and pups sold, owner no longer able to care for them, family member is getting rid of the dogs, but also still trying to sell pups.....

Yeah. I am still crossing my fingers they will have a pup for us, but who knows when that would be. Claymore would love a playmate and we would love another companion. Not to mention...im already chasing a puppy around like its a toddler, may as well wrangle two at once.

Fingers crossed for all that have turned in apps!

Those puppies are sooo cute - I hope they and the adults all land softly in good homes.

You mean the rescue dog or the dog already in the home?

The TM rescue spays/neuters all its dogs before they go to its new home yes, but I don't know what their policy is for dogs already in the home. They state they require a fence but don't say anything about the status of dogs already in the home.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I meant dogs that are already in the home. Here is another question aren't they putting the dogs health in jeopardy fixing them that young? It concerns me with the horror stories that I have read of fixing a giant breed to early

Individual rescue groups vary, some require all pets in the home to be neutered some don't care because THEIR dogs are neutered before leaving the rescue.
