He weighs 123 lbs. I feed him 3 cups twice a day of nutrasource holistic grain free food. but he hasn't gained any weight in the last 6 months.

He looks think in the second shot as well. Another photo might help. At 19 months he is in an awkward stage of growth. He might not gain much more weight but he will fill out, and males can take up to 3 years until they are fully developed. have you ever thought about feeding raw? And is he neutered?

Unfortunately him being neutered so young could be why he's a little on the thin side. Mastiffs need their hormones to grow to their potential and without them they can often be skinny and tall.

He may still bulk out a bit despite being neutered young. My non mastiff was neutered at 5.5 months, before any signs of puberty. He had the same weight and shape from 10-23 months. Just before he turned 2 his chest actually broadened and he put on 5 lbs of bone/muscle.

I had a lab that I neutered young (I know, I know...I didn't know any better then) and he was a big boy, it didn't impact his growth. However, mastiffs grow more slowly than many other dogs and they do need those hormones to fully develop. I'm surprised he doesn't like raw, although I have heard of some dogs not enjoying it. My girl just goes nuts for it. Chances are he will be thinner and not as thick as many males, but I am sure he will be love no matter what :)

He is a tall boy for sure and if he is in a spurt that added a bit more height then he is going to look thinner than he did before. Our male puppy was eating the same amount as his siblings but last week he hit a spurt that made him look thin, upped his food for a bit to make sure he is getting enough and now this week the brother did the same thing so his food has been put up as well. He looks like a good active weight but you could make some satin balls as a treat and see if you can get him to eat one or two of them for you.
