I hate to be a pain how big is the stop handle? I have smallish hands & I'm wondering if it might need another notch to make the loop a little tighter?

Do you mean the handle at the long end or the traffic loop? The End handle is about 8" inches around, Hector's mom had the same issue. I usually make them the same size as a standard strap leash. This is my hand with it tight all the way around.

Not sure what to do about making that part smaller. I just grab it when I need too I don't stick my wrist through it or any handle really. Something I just realized though, I did not add a ring to the handle or leash, was that an option you wanted as well?

Oh ok that's fine I looked at the pics on your FB of Hector's leash on jade & it gave me a different perspective. You don't have to add the ring, not sure what I would use it for

I'll throw in an inexpensive carabiner you can snap on the handle.

I will try to get jade out for a walk on your leash this evening so you can see if it looks right to you. My model is always willing to try our new gear.

Easy 7 or 8 feet, I didn't really measure it I just held the rope above my head and called it good. Then made the loops. It seems to have grown since I cut it. Nice thing is when you use it hands free you still have plenty of leash for the dog to move about.
