my gun personally
\Rottweiler.
Which one would you guys want to be at your side when a wolf, thug or any kind of danger approches you?
Than why most special forces uses doberman or german shephard in the operations or war.I never saw a rottweiler. So are you saying that doberman's bite is much weeker than rottweilers?Sorry for my weak english.Having been bit by Dobermans twice and only having surface wounds and a few stitches I would still go for the rottie. Seeing Dozer destroy a mans hamstring through a hiking boot with one bite tells me all I need to know about Rottie bite force and ability to protect. The Rottie was a cart dog but it was also the money keeper, they are known world round as personal and home protection dogs.
Rottweiler's have a tendency to overheat faster than Dobermans and GSD's. Dobermans and GSD's also have slightly more stamina and have better body shapes to carry them over obstacles like walls or barriers.Than why most special forces uses doberman or german shephard in the operations or war.I never saw a rottweiler. So are you saying that doberman's bite is much weeker than rottweilers?Sorry for my weak english.
Oh MY! Were their any reprocutions for your dog because he attacked that man? Or was it ruled "Just Cause" because it was an intruder?Rottweilers have a much higher bite strength, wider mouth and head gives them a bite advantage, but as Kelsey said they have other disadvantages due to climate and build. When my Doberman bit my arm after being attacked by a raccoon (I don't fault him he was in shock and blinded). I got some punctures and the skin pulled from the muscle but no tears. He did rip my finger open to the bone though. When my Rotti/Chow bit my attacker in my home he went through the boot and tore the hamstring away from the mans heel, then bit the calf and tore open the leg and muscle. This from a not even pure Rottweiler of only 110 lbs (50kg)
Well I am glad the whole situation worked out for the best!Nope no problems. He was not an intruder but a girlfriends ex boyfriend at a small house party. He smashed a chair over my back and I threw him on the floor and was about to pound him when he started screaming then I heard Dozer growling and looked back, this was when he grabbed the guys calf and tore it open. I told him I wouldn't press charges if he wouldn't but the doctor called the police and reported the bite. When they questioned the guy he told the truth and since my dogs were vaccinated and registered they were not quarantined and the police felt it was the other guys stupidity that got him bit. The whole thing was pretty nasty all around.

I think the dobe didn't bite you with all its force, cause i've seen what damage they can do when they bite. They will just pull away your muscles from your bone.but the rott actually gives bone crushing bite, but sadly they are smaller in size than dobes.Having been bit by Dobermans twice and only having surface wounds and a few stitches I would still go for the rottie.
