Hey Sarah...That it my daughter's name! I have to disagree with you about your beagle though, I had the world's worst beagle!! She was my ex's dog...he went on for years how he wanted a female beagle, got one, and the day he left, he left her too, and has never given her a second thought. I never wanted a beagle, but I loved her, and so did my boxer Max. That dog drove me CRAZY on a daily basis!! She was 100% motivated by food, and every waking hour was spent trying to figure out how to get it (she probably dreamed about it too!!!). She planned, plotted, manipulated, etc. When she passed I swore I would never have another beagle. She was the only dog I've ever had that was smarter than me!! :)

That sounds exactly like Kahlua!! Her daily thoughts must consist of: Food, toilet, garbage, more food, birds food, cats food, kids food, her own food, can I eat that? and Oh you have people over? THey must have food too...
UGH she isn't even friendly either which is the worst part. I actually recieved her as a gift from an ex.. He probably knew what beagles were like except she's really old now and mean and bites! :-(

You're not the only one. My wife does this too, although I really didn't notice it as much until she recently got an electric toothbrush. Now I hear that thing buzzing all of the time all around the house while she's getting ready in the morning. She took it all the way upstairs this morning (opening windows while brushing her teeth.)

Are you sure it's the toothbrush?

i'm Susie, homemaker & mastiff lover. I just lost my beautiful Boceiphus, an english mastiff, at the ripe old age of 12. that was in aug2012, next weekend i will pick up our new puppy, a Dogue de Bourdeax, looking forward to that. I'm sure I will need lots of advice on raising this little one, thank you all
