  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

I need some more suggestions

Sorry if this is a repeat but you could just put a small veggie can or small jar full of water in the middle of his bowl. Then add the food. The jar/can will slow him down, this was another trick I did with Jade.

Thanks LizB! I should probably caveat it by saying that the slow feed bowl is a recipe for a drool monsoon :) Gio looks like he went swimming by the time he's done with his meal!

Lol I'm glad I'm not the only one with a gulper! The funny thing is, when he was younger I had to entice him to eat!!! Now I'm trying to get him to slow down lol.
@mike I've tried the thing in the bowl and it had no affect I think I might try the cookie tray and the kong or puzzle. I too interrupt him while eating, just for training and I still will handfeed once a week, again for training. Again thanks for the suggestions!

We have a giant rock in the middle of our catahoula's bowl. Slows her down enough. Try something like that maybe?

how about feeding him 3 times a day and put 3 dishes down and what you normally feed him put a little in each dish so he slows down...my Neo used to do that to and then I started giving him 3 dishes to eat out of and he is not eating as fast any more..cuz he is busy going to each dish to see whats in it and he goes back and forth...my neo is 6 month and he stopped eating fast since I started that..I used the slow feeding dish and he figured out with his paws how to flip it and all the food went every where...good luck I hope it helps..BTW how old is you baby

So a lil update I tried the muffin tin today....he was done in 3mins so an increase of 2mins but still pretty fast! After our long weekend mini vacay I'm gonna shop around for a puzzle bowl or kong wobbler.
