Poor Jax! It's definitely hard on the heart when your fur babies are not feeling well. I know I panic when mine are sick. Hope he starts to feeling better soon.

Thanks guys

He seems to be much better this morning. His temp was 100. He nudged his food chest (telling me to feed him!) so that was a good sign since he hasn't eaten much the last few days. He was "talking" to me this morning which was also good. He is a very talkative dog so I knew something was up when he was giving me lip for a few days! The vet called this morning and said he has a highly elevated white blood cell counts so he has an infection of some sort. If he is not a lot better by Monday I will be taking him back in for a chest xray. Hopefully he is on the road to recovery...again!

100's a bit on the low side, hope he's not going to swing in the other direction now.....crossing fingers for you!

Well the fever seems to be gone and he is obviously feeling back to his old self. He wiggled all over me when I got home and nibbled my fingers. But he's still walking funny. I haven't seen him all day, worked a double, but tonight it looks like its in his left rear leg. It's like the ataxia he has after seizures or after a large dose of valium. It's not quite as bad as it is at those times but it is definitely there. I just can't figure this dog out!
