Sent in a PM (message below).. anyone in the TX area that could help to transport a EM? Could use a few different folks, trying to get a EM from TX to AL. Thanks for your consideration, PM me for my contact info.
Hi Dawn,
I've read a good number of your post and posted on some of your threads about getting Franklin in the car I believe. My wife and I work with Southern States Mastiff rescue, however they don't take dogs with prior agression history. I'd be willing to take him personally & work with him to see if I could get him stable enough, for you to either take him back or to have SSMR place him in a qualified home (they have a wide network & do courtesy listings)
Home - Southern States Mastiff Rescue.
Also there are (2) very well known face book groups for EM's, we could post to see if anyone would foster him. The issue I'm going to have is I'm leaving Friday for vacation & will be gone for work until 6/17.
I will post this same message on your thread and see if we can have anyone pick him up, and form a chain back to AL.
P.S. Send me a recent pic of him and anything you'd want me to include on the FB posting, contact info etc.
Sorry your going through a storm right now in your life, I can't say I've been where you are but I can say I've been thru more storms than I ever cared to experience. Many times I leaned on this scripture Psalms 30 "Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning."
Also I'll share lyrics to one of my favorite songs, this song is about a father that finds out about his child having terminal cancer, but it applies to many things just the same.
"Praise You In This Storm"
I was sure by now
God You would have reached down
And wiped our tears away
Stepped in and saved the day
But once again, I say "Amen", and it's still raining
As the thunder rolls
I barely hear Your whisper through the rain
"I'm with you"
And as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise the God who gives
And takes away
And I'll praise You in this storm
And I will lift my hands
For You are who You are
No matter where I am
And every tear I've cried
You hold in Your hand
You never left my side
And though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm
I remember when
I stumbled in the wind
You heard my cry to you
And you raised me up again
My strength is almost gone
How can I carry on
If I can't find You
I lift my eyes unto the hills
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord
The Maker of Heaven and Earth
