  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

Things didn't turn out as well as I thought they were going to. Court is at 9 tomorrow morning, and a few days after that, we will be on the street.

I never found anyone who wanted Franklin, so I'll end up taking him to the shelter in the next couple of days, as soon as I find someone with a car who can help me.

Thank you to all who tried to help me, and to those who were happy for me when I thought Franklin would get to stay with me.

This will be my last post. I wish you and your pups much happiness. Give them lots of love because you never know what could happen to take them away from you.

Thanks again.

If anyone wants to check on Franklin for the next couple of days, I can be reached at 682-583-8044 until my phone is shut off on the 10th.

I am so very sorry to hear this. I will keep you in my prayers. Isn't rescue a possibility for Franklin, instead of the shelter?

In an earlier post she mentioned contacting rescue groups and that they wouldn't take him due to his aggression issues.

I sure wish I could take Franklin just temporarily until you get back on your feet Dawn, but I just can't at the moment. I've have exhausted every outlet I could find with no luck. I am sincerely sorry this is happening to you & your boy. I can't imagine the heart break that you are going through right now. My heart aches for you hun. :(

It takes him a long time to warm up to people. He's never been around men, so he's scared of them.

He's a handful, but he is also very smart, and I have no doubt that with proper training, and a lot of love and patience, he would be someone's good boy.

This hurts so much.

Wasn't there a person on here who was willing to take in an aggressive dog found on Craigslist & attempt to rehabilitate him??? I can't remember for the life of me who it was but I think they were in Georgia? Joshua Gough maybe??

Actually, you can fight it. You may very well lose but it can buy you more time and you don't need a lawyer.

I wonder if he would be willing to help in this situation. I know it's a stretch since he has a new puppy now but it might be worth contacting him. Dawn, could you shoot him a PM?

He was willing to travel wherever that dog was. Think it was in another state. I'm not 100% sure he will take Franklin but it wouldn't hurt to ask. Maybe even if you asked if he could temporarily house him until you get situated

Certain rules have to be followed for an eviction. If they are not followed you may be able to delay the eviction or convince the landlord to work with you.

Good Luck and when you and Franklin land on your feet be sure and come back to visit. You'll most certainly be in all of our thoughts.
