Well, it was originally planned to be a natural mating, ended up being artificial insemination with frozen seman ($$$), 10 pups of good size infact they were so large that by her due date mom couldn't work her belly over even a short step. Over concern that the stress of birth would put to much stress on her internal organs because she was so large they ended up doing a csection ($$$$). All 10 pups survived, though apparently the runt had vet visits to match what you've been doing, and due to her giant belly and the csection mom wasn't able to feed the pups hardly at all so they were ALL TEN tube and bottle fed every three hours for their entire nursing career, which yes includes getting them to go potty and cleaning....to top it off, she'd had a 2nd bitch also bred at the same time, thankfully SHE only had one pup, but she also turned out to be one of those violently aggressively protective mothers and she attacked the breeder's assistant. Assistant's ok, but I gather there was a large number of stitches involved.
