This one might actually be a multi-state scam, based on the hits on google. No link, cause it disappeared by the time I'd gotten a screenshot!

A search on the phone number (not visible on the screen shot, I had to click the contact button and forgot to screenshot that got me the following hits:

This guy is using stolen puppy pictures to "sell" puppies. Among the current pictures he's using are pictures that SHOW THE FACE of Susie Ochsenbien, Apollo's breeder. Thats right, he's not only using pictures that show puppies from several litters ago, but he's so brazen he's using pictures that show her face: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1394038064177548&set=pcb.1394038290844192&type=1&theater

Discussion among other TM folks resulted in the discovery that this isn't the first time this guy has done this either. I've flagged him, and so has a bunch of other folks, but please help us by flagging his posts as a scam and reporting his profile!

HOw do I know this is a scammer rather than an idiot?

Well, they're also selling Siamese kittens, which doesn't mean much, but, they're also listing this (and yes, thats a stolen photo), and then I found This, yes, thats hte same photo that they're using in the above ads, and yes, its a stock photo, its ALL OVER the internet.....I haven't tracked down the puppy photos yet, if someone recognizes them feel free to say so!

What are they hoping to accomplish by stealing photos & using them to bring people in to buy their probably horribly bred puppies that aren't even boerboels? Wait...I think I know the answer & it makes me want to bash their skulls into a wall. Too harsh?

I have to stay off the Dallas CL. I'm convinced that a huge percentage of people posting animal ads on there are the dumbest of the dumb & all it does is piss me off. CL could be such a useful tool for finding animals homes but it is so beyond abused.

There was one by me a few days ago, its gone now, not a scammer, just an idiot. 2yr old Neo, they were getting rid of him because he has cherry eye. Not because he needs surgery, they specifically stated that their vet said he didn't need surgery unless the cherry eye was causing him problems (uhuh), but just because he had cherry eye.....

Probably because they were tired of looking at it? That would be my guess. Oh my dog has a fault, let's pawn him off on someone else & get another that isn't considered an eye sore. No pun intended.

The shepdanepoo ad has also been posted on Winnipeg kijiji before. A bit odd that it was also posted on a Craigslist ad in the US.
