Straight stifles

I think GSD stacking info was throwing me off, although I do love their show pose. There seems to be a lot of breed-specific information out there on stacking. I saw him do that position and it looked like a show position so I snapped the photo.

Glad Ham's looking good. I worry a lot about his body's structural integrity because he was bred carelessly.

Apollo is such a pretty boy!

I'm at work right now and don't have my camera, so getting a proper picture of Angus it out of the question. Here are a few pictures of him standing while alert.

I know they aren't the right angles, but it's the best I got right now!

The GSD is probly the Biggest exception to the level back rule (though I've seen some of the sighthound types get more and more angled lately). I hate it personally, but that may be because I know what its done to the GSD as a breed.....that insistance on a sloping back and angled pelvis has done some really nasty things to the shape of a showline GSDs hips and pelvis.

And thank you, he's my big fluffy baby!

QY, in that last picture, it could be the angle, but his stifles don't look to bad.

Lol, Ruth. Your "Excuse me?" was exactly what came to my mind, probably with the same "Whaaat?" inflection! I understand what he means now though. :)
