Thane is resorting to underhanded, sneaky tactics. I fell asleep on the couch Friday. I woke up with a Mastiff head on my lap, the rest of him being next to me on the couch. Seriously?? Then he did not want to get off. Not even fot treats. That is just plain underhanded. Mastiffs don't play fair...
As some predict3d, I lost the battle. The sneaky trick he used is being terrified of fireworks. Allowed him to come up for some comforting. Yes. I am weak.
Mateo only rarely comes up on the couch-- when he does, it's because he wants to snuggle before falling asleep. Of course, it's only a loveseat, so one of us usually gets pushed off as he stretches out, LOL.
I don't mind, though...it's a non-issue in this home.
