Well now im confused because you and ace both stated the lady who bred the dog only worked with Cafib dogs...and there is no angle to show the dog isnt extremely houndy for a fila (atleast dont look like yours) theres a very clear side pick....also I dont give a crap about judges...or winners....because there where dogs that where non cafib that got kicked out for showing temperament one from the same kennel I got my "mutt" from.....plus that show was put on by a garbage association neither cbkc nor cafib so no the judging doesnt count for crap....also not to nit-pick but in her pictures id have to say there are people a tad close

Every now and again a good gut buster is thrown in. It is interesting to read the both sides though, amazing how the thread can grow with just few people.

Tiger, you must be confused because I never said that de la luna was a CAFIB breeder, Ace did.... NONE of her current dogs come from CAFIB bloodlines, she doesnt show under CAFIB shows and she doesnt follow the CAFIB standard.... means only one thing...NOT CAFIB however, apparently she is FCI. Her dogs are shown under FCI standard, her dogs have FCI pedigrees and her dogs won under those circumstances. Carlos' dogs were disqualified because that is how those shows are. CAFIB shows on the other hand dont give a crap about how well mannered your dog is because they are there to evaluate your dog not how well you trained them. I told Carlos that if he wishes to show under FCI judges he will have to socialize his dog more and that is all that's needed.

The part about no one is willing to budge is BS, I have changed my train of thought many times speaking with someone that has produced facts ie, the dark brindle dogs... CAFIB dont like them because they claim that the dog may be mixed however there are more than a few dogs that I have seen that show no signs of mixed breeding and they have a darker brindling, Unifila has no issues with it either. When I get shown proof of something it changes my mind but with some people I swear they believe that ignorance is bliss and with proof being handed to them they just close their eyes, put fingers in ears and scream out lalalal I cant hear you, lalalal. its insane.

There is no proof unless you know the orginators of the breed everything else is hearsay its a dog with very little known history just what people think they know... simple show me proof there was never a black fila...

Does Continental Kennel Club print those up? Do they still require 2 witnesses?

No CKC does not print them out? are you assuming that pretty papers makes for correct papers? Hell I trust some breeders that give hand witten pedigrees more than I trust those fancy CBKC papers.

In EVERY breed there is a history that was not documented by nat geo, MSNBC, FOX News, etc... why aren't you questioning those breeds? why aren't there brindle German Shepherds? show me proof that there isnt any... you got to be kidding me. I have yet to see a purebred black fila and thats the proof.. I haven't seen a unicorn either so i will assume they don't exist as well until i see a Sasquatch carrying a black fila while riding a unicorn down 5th ave.

Anyways I showed proof that CAFIB is also a registry, did you see it or are you guys gonna make believe that doesnt exist?... like I said proof in front of your face yet you still cant see it.

I concur... there isnt a brindle german shepherd because there isnt any... but ive seen black fila......theres the difference.. and you said proof in front of our face but.... there isnt any....im still extremely confused how the Cafib can have bad dogs....there ignored.... the cafib can have dogs that arent standard... and there shown.... but please let any of those things happen to non cafib and its the world coming to an end....its just ridiculous...and then you have half the board thinking through you and all they think is the Cafib is the almighty when theyve probably never seen a Fila....like i said i dont like the breeder i got Athena for moral reasons BUT he has FILA il tell you that and it shows through my pup and the pup (from the same place) that got kicked out of that show for being a TRUE FILA....and they look much better than that thing on the first page....

Juan no communist, I mean liberal here. But I hope you realize just like the Democratic party is a far cry from the days of JFK, the Republican party in certainly not the same as the Reagan days. They abandoned true conservatives and covertly support big govt and spending. Unless the two party system is broke open or people start to support a fiscally conservative party and one who respects our constitutional rights like the Libertarian Party, we are done as a country. Sooner than later unfortunately.
