I can agree with the post where it said even EMs can turn out to be a handful. I'm dealing with this now with my 18 month old pup. I didn't socialize her like I should've & the result is a dog aggressive, stubborn jackass of a dog. One that pulled me down to the ground trying to go after another dog the other day. My parents' neighbor has a purebred shar-pei who is a bigger asshole than my EM. She has been aggressive towards people & other dogs from the day they brought her home. I've never been very fond of shar-peis & actually allergies prevent me from even getting near any, even dogs that are mixed with them. Their hair makes my skin crawl.

I would like to know exactly what this breeder told you your pups parents were. I know you said she said the mom was a mix of shar-pei & what? EM? AM? I'm confused. What was dad?

The lady said mom was a AM x Shar pei. Dad is just an AM. But personally I thought they both looked more like EMs, but mom had more of a shar pei face
