dogues ears dont hang down?

For some reason my ddb ears dont hang down it doesn't bother me just wondered why has anyone seen this brfore thanks guys by the way shes 8 months and weighs 35kg by the way shes not kc show standard but to us she is il post some pics.

Her ears are called Rose ears .. You will see that in many breeds of dog

Loads of people have asked that im from the uk where the breed is banned the mum and dad are pure ddb if her ears are down she looks completely different.

It's not just the ears that don't look DDB. But I still think she is adorable and it doesn't matter if she isn't. Do you have pics of the parents? I don't know much about DDB's, but I've seen a lot on this forum and she just don look entirely like the ones on here. So if she isn't purebred then that might explain why her ears are rosebud. But at the end of the day all that matters is that you love her and some times a purebred can not "look" purebred so I'm not saying she isn't, cause I don't know. Just going based off observations.

Your baby is gorgeous. I have to agree, I see pit in the mix. Regardless, she's gorgeous

She is beautiful. However. There is no way in haites that she is a pure ddb. It's not a matter of just not show quality. Or not typical ddb features. She has more pitbull qualities then ddb. She is really beautiful and she looks very pretty. But she is not a pure ddb.

Hope that doesn't offend you. But if I sat here and told you maybe her ears don't stand right because some DDBs look like that I'd be lieing to you. And I wouldn't want anyone to lie to me. So I'm going to just come out and say it. Even if the breed is banned there are still PBS out there. And some how one of them got with the mama of your puppy lol.

Your dog is ddb x pitbull or am staff IMO. That is why her ears are like that. That is why she looks not to standard. If you were told she was pure bred. You were lied to. But. None the less she is beautiful.

i no but if the person still think the dog is pure, well than its something we cant help n to ask the question y the ears stand even though we tell the person its because the dog mixed n the response is that both the parents r pure(i would look to c both parents) than there nothing we can do so.......what can we do .........

Darling DDB/Staffy mix. But I'd have to agree with everyone's answer to why your dogs ears stand; it's from being mixed with a Staffshire Terrier. I've never seen a DDB's ears stand up like that. But you do have a very cute dog; especially because she's part DDB!

Yeah looks like I wsd lied to if that's the case the breeder told me she could be a throw back she's an amazing dog really amazing she has said oh if you dont like her have your money back knowing I love our dog I should get money for being lied to.

Guys do you think ive got grounds to take it further maybe say I had a dna test done and its come back staffy as well. This is not the first time ive contacted her.the mum was there when we picked her up big ddb and a staff alarm bells been ringing.even a police officer asked is she pit.the brrader sais no the staff was nutted and maybe shes a throw back.as I said we love her to bits shes going know where. Also breeder said feed bakers complete. Shit food I know we are spending alot of money on large breed food. I need to know for her sake thing is shes 35kg at 8 month could she grow just as big as a pure ddb if shes not pure? Thanks guys any advice welcome. Also pip gets attention everywhere we go.

I think you have grounds to get a DNA test done. Some registries are requiring that the female and male get DNA testing done. If she is registered, you can ask for a DNA test that they will send you for a few. They then check the DNA to the parents and you can prove if this actually is the parents pup.

Body identical teeth are ddb as well only diff I can see is longer snout and smaller head if you saw her mannerisms you would se she act's the same. Its been 8 month now and she is amazing so cute geys attention everywhere we go we feel blessed to have such a friendly loving dog and she can move when shes running. Its just if she wasn't full ddb which I might never find out its just the feeding shes on large breed kibble with chicken rice eggs that kind of thing. On weight she the average size of other ddb and her paws are huge so its a matter of how big will she get. The breeder is saying she can not get anything done as the mum was not kc reg but dad was. When I bought her she said if any of your friends say shes not ddb you can have your money back.erm she has a lot of land and has like agility traing erea she was so genuine statures of ddb at her door etc.i did notice the mum was not a really small stocky ddb but taller and huge.
