i no but if the person still think the dog is pure, well than its something we cant help n to ask the question y the ears stand even though we tell the person its because the dog mixed n the response is that both the parents r pure(i would look to c both parents) than there nothing we can do so.......what can we do .........
well I warn u guys as I said before if that's what the person wants to believe than what can we do I think this post should end :( because this whole thing is just going in circles n the person is just does not seeing it for what it is( this person has the ability to search out what a ddb looks like(akc or other national standards) for themselves show r not show n decide for themselves so what ever happens in the end happens) sorry folks we cant help everyone but what we can do is the courage dna testing if they truly believe that the dog question is pure what can it hurt to get it tested on top of that its would squash any question in being part pit especially being where they live which is every important (life r death) so that's my 2cents for the day

Just an update for you guys. Pip is now 12 months old and is 35kg or 78lbs she looks a lot different with her mouth open rather than closed like 2 different dogs its amazing. I can now see some pit or other but il never be sure. Shes totaly house trained never even an accident fully trained on recall sit lie down paw stay jump etc. Not one sign of aggression at all just bouncy and playful. She gets so much attention when shes out. Just wanted to post an update for anyone that posted in the early time of this thread thanks alot. Also got her spayed and has been on top quality kibble from day one. Thanks alot.

Hello everybody, what do you make up from this dog ?
According to the breeder, both parents were boerboel, why the ears are like this ? View attachment 25219
I did some research and found a few with ears that seems simulair, dogs with high scores, so definitelly purebreed but all from decades ago, is it possible that the standard has changed and this dog is old school style? View attachment 25218
It would probably be best to start your own thread so that everyone sees it. Thanks!
