I've known 50-60lb pitbulls to catch and hold 350lb wild hogs ....... they do come 75lbs and game , there has always been 60-70lbs pits , at least in my lifetime . hell , today they come 90-100lbs , they are hands down the gamest dog breed there is . I guess until you seen one anchor down and wait it out , you can't appreciate how physically strong and tough those dogs are , and what an equalizer gameness is .......

I have had a pitbull and family currently owns pitbulls.... our original one was as close to a fighting line as they get, his bloodline was even registered in a Pitbull book we had... bouncing Bob something or other was his grandpa...it was back in the early to mid 1980's....I lost the book as it would have been great to have it today ..... i know the fighting dogs were usually well south of 70lbs..45-55 lbs being the most common weights.... All I will say is when the teeth come out pitbulls are not the only dog with game, if not the internet wouldn't be polluted with videos of big Mollosers beating the piss out of pitbulls as sadly dog fighting appears to be well and strong in many shithole countries and the Pitbull vs fighting mastiff has been done many times over...and truly even a big 70 lb has little chance against a big 180 lb Kangal...I am not saying ti can't happen but the reality is Pitbulls are not the only dog with the ability to fight and the ability to kill other dogs....Pitbulls are what they are more for their smaller size and easy transport and care then they are for the ability to slay all comers no matter the size.... In dog fighting they have weight classes and in its weight class the Piutbull is king...but in a open weight class they are greatly outmatched... I know the legends have everything thinking they are some unstoppable god of fighting dogs but it simply isn't true.....

we've had a few ourselves :) I imagine this thread could go very badly , i'll end my portion with this ........... alligator , butcherboy , maday , virgil , tant's red rebel ............all were 70-90lb dogs , when you see them weighing 50-65lbs , those dogs are drawn down to bones , draw one of them 150lb CAO's down like that , they'd be 100lbs ............ hell I was told Colby's pinscher was over 70lbs , and that had to be like 1930????? as far as kangals , not to offend kangal owners , but I've never seen a game one , jme ....... I've seen some really tough CAO's , and some lightweight tosa's , that look to have some game ........... I think pitbulls like tito were taken to japan ?????, and golden king's king and killer .......... I believe Gabo was a proven CAO , well you know what happened there ? there was an amstaff too ........ the big dogs just lack endurance , deep game , and most don't have the bite power to overcome those disadvantages ..........i'm out ..............

I have this question
I have a 19 month CC and we walk where people live dogs outside their home unattended. A GSD mix grown up dog together with a small dog, always they can try to fight my CC. Once the GSD mix get into fight my CC ,no one got bitten really. My dog stay until I got to make the GSD live.
2 times they have encountered each other and my CC ignored the others dog. Is my. Ca be Corso week to fight or what?

At the small fight ,it ended by its self. Both dogs stop. The GSD mix started moving but growling, that is when I move my iron stick to make he left. I was holding my CC with his leash .
