Urine neutralizer that WORKS

So Stone is going strong now on the 8 months streak of urination in his crate:champ:

Tried, bleach, lysol, natures miracle, LA's cleaner, and yes even the Natures "Miracle" crap at $30-40 a bottle. He still goes. Any other products I missed that would work, checking Amazon now.

I use this, mainly for carpets but seems to work wonders. It says on the back that you can use it on any water safe surface. And I believe it's guaranteed or they'll refund you.

Edit: I think I paid somewhere between $12-16 for it.

Well it won't stop his peeing problem but I'm hoping I can get rid of the smell. Before it saturates into the crate like his last one. I can't keep buying new crates.

Ruth if you remember the name let me know.

Rug doctor! Donno it it would work on a crate, but I find it works well on my carpet. Had no luck with natures miricle either. I HAVE had luck with plain viniger water on hard surfaces though, if the carpet cleaner doesn't work on plastic/metal

Ugh....but I can't stand the smell of vinegar.

Raechiemay, that's exactly what I think it smells like, LOL!

Seriously considering diapers now.

Yes, the one I just tossed out was a tad smaller for him to stand but he slept and spun well. This new crate is bigger has a bit more room than he needs but it still makes no difference. In or out/large or small he still goes. I got tired of changing the horse bedding every two days so he's back to sleeping on nothing now.

I've just never heard of a dog or puppy who will willingly pee in his bed & sit or lay in it. Surely he has complete control over his bladder by now! I can imagine how frustrated you are!! Has the vet ruled out any type of UTI or the like?

WOW! My 22 week old EM is doing the same thing...sigh. She sleeps through the night no problem but almost every day she pees in her crate. My lab/mix and previous siberian husky never, ever peed in their crate...so I have been a bit befuddled. I am glad to hear I am not the only one dealing with this. She is still having accidents in the house occasionally but that's mainly our fault for not paying attention.

That's why I named him Stone he's like a person that is book smart but no common sense.......

I'm more annoyed than anything as I was hoping he be 75% better before we move again in a few months. Hard enough finding a place that accepts pets let alone a puppy who is still potty training ( though I leave that part out) Haven't taken him to the vet nothing I read about UTI points to what he has.

Jreach, If she can hold for 8 hours shes lightyears ahread of Stone. Every morning I'm greeted with the smell of ammonia.

I'm just wondering if he has a medical or maybe muscle problem that prevents him from holding it.

Or maybe he just has asshole disease. ;) I feel your pain though. Duchess was difficult for a while. She's got the hang of it now.

That's his nickname :D

I'll give it some time , I'll see how he is in 10 months. He goes potty on command. And like last night as an example he'll go right infront of me, this was after me taking him outside and feeding him.
