What has your Mastiff eaten?

If you want chewed up but not eaten, Ben has accounted for 2 sat navs, a digital camera and 2 TV remotes. All happened within a 6 week period and then he just stopped chewing stuff up, weird.

Oh my goodness! The things some of these dogs have eaten! Wow! Daisy will eat pretty much ANYTHING! Ive seen different dicovery channel shows about sharks, where a shark is cut open, after its dead of course, only to display a wide variety of odd things it has eaten...tires, pieces of ship, etc. And thats how i jokingly describe Daisy. Lol! Over the holidays, i was outside with my dad, and we found that she had apparently eaten a half-dollar sized plastic suction cup thing, a part of a halloween window decoration that i mustve missed while putting things away. Wont be using that again next year...gross!
She loves socks and gloves, washcloths and bras, loves plastic forks...why?, legos, toy guns, foam swords, wiffle ball bats...could go on and on. But with the gloves, socks...we really keep a close eye on that. I had a friend who, after a lenghty and complicated surgery, had to put his 8 mo. doberman to sleep because the dog couldnt pass the sock that he swallowed. :'(
But i swear, Daisy really is like a toddler...no little people picking up anything and putting it into their mouths anymore...just the puppy! She keeps us on our toes, thats for sure!

Oh, and thankfully she has finally come out of her 'wires' phase...after a phone charger, a car charger, and a ds charger have all bit the dust. We had to nip that in the bud, real quick! Thats one expensive, and irritating, habit!

Pacifiers!!!!!! Which my son no longer has I suppose he thought Sasha needed them more because she managed to end up with all of them in her cage at one point or another! Luckily I can hear when she's chewing on something other then her bones or toys she only actually ate 1 of them! Wish I would of got a picture though it was aweful cute walking up and seeing a passy hanging out of her mouth! lol!

Just this week: a Styrofoam and straw reindeer sitting on my fireplace, a pink Cadillac wooden ornament, a hummingbird plastic ornament, Real Simple magazine (must have had really good recipes in this issue), and the rubber feet off of her favorite "indestructible" ball (indestructible my a**).

So awesome to hear all of these stories. I havent had any issues with my Mastiffs yet, but had a Great Pyr who ate the entire side of my couch, cell phones, lighters, bottle caps, shoes, towels etc.
Its really funny to hear the stories, most times I just think to myself..." well, I should probably quit bating them with all this stuff I leave laying around." LOL

My boy Murphy likes to eat sticks, not just little twigs but small branches. I have since cleared all sticks out of the yard. He has also eaten a couple pairs of the wifes underwear and a couple socks. No blockages so far.

Just today our EM decided that he would try to eat a lighter. My better half takes him everyday down to his shop which is a used tire business and he hangs out down there with dad until i pick him up after i get off work. Well Keith forgot to put him in his kennel before he went outside to do a job and Diesel decided to jump up on the desk and steal his lighter and try to eat it! Needless to say I got a txt that said YOUR dog stole my lighter off the desk and decided to eat it..... I really hope it lights a fire under his butt when it comes out the other end! I was laughing so hard I was crying. :) that will teach Keith not to leave his lighter out again!

Well after reading some of these i feel very LUCKY haha 6 month old Cane Corso and all he has gotten into so far is charger cord for my MacBook... was my fault i left it hanging from the table and I am sure it swingning made him go crazy to get it haha... Thank goodness he has no interest in shoes since wife and myself have a shoe room which we MAKE SURE is closed at all times unless we are in it...

Much like Cody we ensure if we arent watching the dogs in the crate they go!

Knock on wood here.....Lillie hasn't chewed anything up yet and she is 20 months old. I have had dogs that chewed the bottom skirting off of a couch while we went to a wedding.

WOW! So lucky with Raistlin! He has chewed up a rental dvd, not sure how he got it out of the sleeve... and he loves to chew on my grand-daughter's My Little Ponies and only the cats in her Littlest Petshop collection! He loves to carry around my husbands socks that he leaves about the floor but doesnt chew them up...

Junior isn't too bad (knock on wood).
He's "sampled" a pair of the wife's shoes. Just a little nibble.
Disembowled 2 dog beds.
Gnawed on a TV remote. It still works.
Besides cleaning the cat box when he's sneaky, that's about it.

My previous two Mastiffs are a completely different story...
Most memorable was the Bull digging a hole to China in the $4K bed. And the EM getting into the BBQ and eating the bottle of lighter fluid, a brillow scrub brush and some charcoal. And then going to the ER shortly thereafter. :)

My french mastiff will eat anything that is on the ground.

He has eaten 3 playstation controllers
destroyed a leather couch
a bunch of clothes
eats tennis balls if there not put up
tv stands
tv trays
shoes

we used to put him in a cage when we left but now that he is older we leave him in the living room and just make sure everything is up. He doesnt eat couches anymore so I trust him around the couches.

How could I forget, my dog brought a stick that was ON FIRE! through the dog door, somehow she made it through the dog door, laundry room kitchen, until she dropped it on the dining room floor and then went back out side! Luckily I found it before there was more than a huge fire. I had a hole burned in the floor about a foot across!

I haven't even had my Mastiff a week and I have rescued a wooden puzzle piece (the letter S) and then found that DH hasn't been too dilegent with disposing of rubbish - I found a ball of scrunched up baking paper in some droppings from the BBQ breakfast DH cooked on the weekend. I have had words... and not with the puppy!

Let's see. Reading glasses. Corners of two wooden tables. Towels. Books. Nik naks. Lawn furniture. Wicker baskets. Dust pans. Tupperware and chicken bones. Socks. Gloves. Shoes. Slippers. Old lace doilies. Pillows. Blankets. Lip balms and glosses. Pens. Can't play fetch with sticks anymore. Raw potatoes. Remote. Phone. Pots... etc. The worst was her fixation on any tissue- kleenex, toilet paper, paper towels. She still has her moments where the temptation is too much.
I'd never had a chewer before this girl. /mind blown
