Choosing a Kennel Name Help

So I have hit the wall with kennel names. I have had about a dozen turned down. Anyone have any suggestions for kennels. Our first choice was White Tree Kennels, then it was Amaranth Kennels. I really want to have something that is closely tied to nature in some way or another. I really like names with some meaning. White Tree is from the LOTR and my husband's first choice. Tree of the King so...you get where we were going with that. King of dogs etc.

No problem if you don't have any suggestions, I just feel fresh out after having so many turned down.

They were already used or too close phonetically to another kennel. I wasn't surprised by White Tree but I was by Amaranth and a few other obscure names I chose.

We might be expanding our line from one based in Brazil, so we were trying to think of a nice tree name from Brazil. Amaranth is another name for the Purple Heart Tree.

About the only name I could find that wasn't associated with a kennel was "Sheniqua"...

12 letters. No spaces in the actual registration but we would put a space on our website. No use of the words Kennels or Mastiff (dog breed) in the name.

:lolbangtable:

No there were a few more than that. We are only looking at CKC kennels, AKC don't matter in the registration, although I am trying to stay clear of similar AKC kennel names in the same breed.

Thanks. There are no mountain ranges near me but it gave me an idea to look at mountain ranges where I grew up. I will look into it.

Thanks everyone who sent me suggestions. I was sitting here working today and it hit me. I have the name, double checked with the CKC and it is available at this point. It has a nature theme and in addition to that, it honours my husbands grandmother...who I absolutely adore. I love his grandmother so much, I would let her move into my house in a heartbeat if she needed to. :)

I would share the name right now but I want to get it approved before I share it. Once CKC sends me all the approvals, I will let you know.

Thanks. It was a long road to get here. A name 12 years in the making. LOL. Can you tell I am extremely picky? I think it is meant to be. His grandmother loves dogs too so that makes it all the better. It's funny. My husband's grandmother loves dogs, her son doesn't and out of her son's grandkids, only my husband loves dogs. He must have got his good taste from his grandma.:p
