I whole heartly agree with everyone on this thread about my boyz growing at their own rate, said it to their Daddy when he first mentioned super power pooper powder..... They were born to be big but it doesn't happen over night & I love this puppy stage, as trying as it can be at times..... The poop started to get a lil solid but now is back to runs.... Both have tons of rocks in their poop so now leashing them when I take them out in back yard, not happy campers about that "oh well stop eating rocks & you can have your freedom"..... I believe they are having an issue with poultry & grain so I am going today looking for kibbles with the right balance of nutrients & see how that works..... Daddy can go suck an egg, these pups have a good Mom with their best interest at heart, I will do right by them.... If Kibbles not working then I will feed them a raw diet, will get help with that on this site if need be.... Let their Daddy know, that even though he might not like what you do he will need to respect your wishes. I had the same problem with my husband when we got our Lab 8 years ago. Don't get me wrong, he loved her to death, and when she sadly passed away earlier this year and we sat down discussing the possibility of getting another dog, I put it all on the table. We need to be consistent with this dog, so if he does not know what to do in some situations, he needs to ask, since I am the primary caregiver. When he wants to clean the pee and poop of the floor, get up in the middle of the night, clean the vomit and everything else that comes along raising a baby, by all means......

Sorry for your loss Sadies Mom.... I still miss my Dallas been 3 yrs.... Went to Petsmart bought Castor & Pollux Natural Ultramix grain free & poultry free #1 ingredient is salmon....... No grains or soy has prebiotics multiple fish with real fruits & veggies....... They loved it, didn't have to hand feed them this like I did the SD dry food...... Picked up lean ground beef & brown rice which I will start them on tomorrow.... Not giving them the supplements Daddy insisted they have either..... Why if they are getting it in their foods..... Had a huge fight with Daddy at Petsmart but I didn't back down..... Rather have healthy pups..... They are licking my feet right now, time to take them for a walk..... Then I am going to go pass out, long day with the two knuckle heads..... Took some great pics of them today will post another time....

The Castor and Pollux is a good food. Keep with that. You need to do a slow transition over to it though from the Science Diet. Their little digestive systems are going to go into major shock with all this different stuff. No supplements and most certainly no protein powder.

Boyz had me Up at 5:30 AM, no rest for the weary!!!!! They love the new organic dry food..... Midas had a normal solid poop this morning...... Still waiting for Max..... Life would be so much easier if they pooped at the same time....... They hate being leashed in back yard but no rocks in Midas's poop.... I let them go out without it this morning but as soon as they picked up a rock, I put the leash on said NO Rocks & made them release the rock & leash stayed on for remainder of time outside with tons of NO ROCKs being said.... More Coffeeeeeeee, Yessssss Plzzzzzzz.....

Yeah solid poop for Maximus tooooooooo!!!!! Isn't that something when a normal bowel movement from your pets will make you smile!!! Obs they are allergic to poultry & grains..... Soooooooo I am thinking of getting Castor & Pollux Natural canned food instead of doing the hamburger/rice thing????? Will start out with a half can each twice a day to see how they handle it????? One more question the vet gave me K9 advantix to put on them BUTTTTTT as always read the warnings & said do not let them eat etc..... I have two boyz that are constantly biting licking humping tackling each other & that means they have a good chance of ingesting this off one another???? You have to put it on 3 points on their backs..... Is there something natural that has worked for anyone????? Seriously I need a break from the DRAMA for just a itty bit!!!!! TY Tracy

They are pooping machines again & all normal solid ones.... Took them to Farmer's Market (we go every Sunday, every body knows Midas & Max) then for a walk by the river...... Very nice Sunday with my boyzzzzzz!!!!! Oh I am sole owner of them now..... Daddy said I ruined them & he will never be able to raise them the way he wants to..... So I lost a boyfriend but gained two handsome loving now healthy pups...... So much for no DRAMA huh......

They were both our dogs but we don't live together, Mr Big Midas was his of course & legs lover boy Max was mine..... I have been their everything..... He would just pop in for a 15 min bonding of eggs & poopoo powder or once gave them ham hock bones that was craptastic too but I threw them away when he left, my words fell on deaf ears... I honestly think he thought they were going to be 200lbs over night.... He broke up with me because he said "they will never be his dogs & he will never be able to raise them the way he wants to"...... He yelled at me once guess who's side those puppy's ran to, yerp mine.... I will always protect them & they will me (some day).....

I thought I did post pics in my introduction, hmmmmmm!!!! Took pics of them yesterday will post those.....

Now that the douche bag is out of the picture, I wish you good luck with your pups. It took a lot for me not to go off on such a moron. I'm brand new to this breed, and dogs in general, but the first thing I learned about them is that you want them to grow slowly so you reduce the chances that they'll suffer from joint problems in the future. Sounds like he didn't respect you anyway. Good riddance.

LOL Well Aarnol, no white trash here & never liked that show but I did just get home from work & walked my boyzzz & now I am having a much deserved PBR after a very long "OMG WTH Just Happened Day"....

Gunny I concur with the no respect for me or Midas & Maximus.... I am just a know it all woman LOL.... The only thing I know for sure is "if two pups have the runs or mushy poop something isn't right"..... Learned a great deal on this site about these giant dogs & what you should or shouldn't do..... Shared the info with him & some old dogs you can't teach new tricks..... It tiz what it tiz..... I wasted well will be 2 yrs next month but I have two cute pounding the crap out of each other behind me as I type boyzzzz..... Time to break it up..... TTYL Tracy

Ohhhhhh forgot with all the poopie talk but very proud of me (for being able to not talk LOL) & M&M ...... I have been training them with hand signals, they now sit & lay down with palm up & palm down...... I love these poopies..... fun fun fun

congrats on keeping the kids!!!!! You will be fine- all of us know it all women make it just fine. LOL And I hear ya on the firm poop smiles. I sweated them for about 6 wks before we found a good food. Boy does it make clean up easier. So congrats and good job on finding a great food for your boys. I would ask your vet about the med on the back and them licking each other. Maybe do it at night as they sleep so it has time to seep in untouched??? That is all I can think of. I know my girl (6mos) sleeps alot during the day, and at night, and in between naps LOL so I do hers before bedtime so she leaves it alone.

LOL you made me smile, thank you it's my fav thing to do.... I will call her 2moro & see what she thinks but I think your idea when they sleep, is what will happen... OMG I would kill to sleep like these two.... After playing for an hour & half they are finally asleep (snoring loudly) plus I walked them, they are party animals love the night life...
