Honest opinions regarding litter vs no litter at all

Ruby55, yes I know that there are breeders that won't let them breed naturally but I always thought it's because they can get aggressive with each other in the process. A friend's American bulldog actually has bitten the female pretty badly.

Dpenning - my girls are crated when unsupervised or they're in fenced enclosure because they clear the electrical farming fence without problems.... Also we have stock wandering here and Sophia got a sheep by the throat. I don't risk it... better safe than sorry.

interestingly in their first encounter with sheep Nita and Kazimir chased a wandering baby sheep ( wandered away from the flock) once, the poor thing was terrified but Kazi and Nita chased him and were licking hi wet while chasing him , they really liked him i guess:) however at the slightest smell or sound of a jackal they just turn on their aggressive mode...funny how the instincts of a 10000 years old breed (bred for sheep protection against predators) kicks in.

That's awesome gilles. Unfortunately Sophia thought it's a puppy so she grabbed it. And she was in full play mode, prey position and wagging tail.

Sophia is the baby in the pack, she's "singing" all day, childish and funny and from time to time she remembers she's a neo mastiff. Luna has a great temperament - she's impeccably obedient except for when she senses a threat and I have to be very careful with her: she's silent and if she goes for it, she means business. Jack is the male, doing the show, but when push comes to shove he's wiser and more careful than the girls.
