How tall?

There are many weight charts on the web but it is a little harder to find height charts. Loki is a 6 month old EM. When I checked his height this month he has t really gotten any taller since he was 5 months but continues to gain weight. He is about 24 to 25 inches at his shoulder and about 90lbs. From everything I've read his weight seems fine but I'm concerned that he hasn't gotten any taller. His this a normal height?

Well he'll probably grow a few more inches. You have to remember they grow for the first 2-3 years of their lives. I believe around 30 inches is the standard for males.

Kryten was 25.5 inches at 6 months and is about 31 inches at 1 year. He has had some weeks where he hasn't grown at all and others that he put on over an inch. I wouldn't worry, he'll start growing again when he is supposed to.

I haven't been able to measure Ruger many times as he absolutely hates it but he is 11 months and 32 inches now. Your pups size sounds good to me. It is hard to tell where they will end up. Ruger would have the strangest growth spurts (and still does) where he would gain weight and no height and then suddenly his butt would be a few inches higher than his front end and he would shoot up to meet it. I definitely wouldn't worry about...he has a long way to go. :)

D's butt is STILL higher than her shoulders & she's still holding steady at 26 inches. I think she'll have a growth spurt pretty soon. She's 10 months old today. When she first started going into heat she was eating like a pig so there's no telling how much she weighs but I think about a month ago she was 83 lbs.

Boris -- who just turned 10 mos -- was around 26" at that age. He is now almost 32". For awhile he was 28" in front and 30" in back and looked really peculiar, lol.

I need to find a better measuring solution for Stone, what do you guys use? He really hasn't grown height wise at all, I'm convinced he is a "mini-dane" Not even close to standard at 9 months.

I have Kryten stand next to a cabinet side and make a mark level with the top of his shoulders then measure down to the floor.

Its possible, usually GM's are close to their approximate height between 8-9 months. Then between 12 months to 24 months may grow another 2-3 inches, but that's the time they start gaining mass. At 8 months old Thor could place his head on my chest. Stone is 9.5 and hasn't even made it pass my waist. We went to a pet store and an EM was taller than him. That's "bad."

Getting a height measurment can be hard. That is why I said Loki is between 24 and 25 inches, it is hard to get exactly. I also mark it on the wall and then measure it. I have a place in the garage that I have been marking since the day he came home.
