  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

i wish I could hunt off my back porch.

That so reminds me of the saying "meat is murder....tasty tasty murder". Ohhh I may have just crossed a line there but my mouth is watering just thinking about back straps.

Its quite quiet. I love it. We've got just under two acres of our own. Technically the miles and miles off the back is privately owned, but its zoned for wildlife habitat, which means its going to be STAYING that way for a while.

Oh, and I'm definetly a meat eater, vegi's are ok, but I like my meat ;)

Zoned for wildlife habitat that would be perfect no suburban homes anytime soon.

Those are great Ruth. I need one of those cams. We have deer always trying to get into our yard because of the pool. Water source I guess. Not much into hunting but I grew up with it so I have no problem with people hunting, just not my thing. Although I do love tagging along with hunters because they often know the most beautiful spots. :)

(sorry for the 2011 date, I forgot to fix the year last time I changed batteries)

but I guess I now know why Apollo keeps getting pissed in that direction after dark....

The cams are a blast. Totally worth the expense. These are fairly high end ones that we got on sale, but you can get cheap ones for less than $50 if you don't really care about quality and the extra data like temp and what not.

Ruth those are nice! I did see deer in the back like once or twice in this place. However since my neighbors are "scared of the dark" I don't see them anymore :( Plus I don't think the traffic helps either......

Well I meant the parking traffic I've had to deal with since my "high school" neighbors like to invite the whole university to their parties:mad: Right now my side of the duplex is vibrating......

Ah. Yah no, pobly not.....the house across the street did that today, though without the sound system for once.....

I was thinking I should move to upstate NY until I saw the temp on that coyote pic. Brrrrr, no thanks. I'm a wuss when it comes to the cold. Great pics though, that spike would be a perfect take with a bow or silenced .22 with subsonic rounds.

Lol! Thats nothing! We start getting into the single digits....now THATS cold! Infact my first winter up here we spent several weeks with temps in the negatives. It made those single digits feel warm.....

You could come up for hunting season! I know quite a few folks who do lol

Being a native Texan, I have to say that the type of cold up north is totally different. A couple years ago when I went to visit my dad in WI, they had snow on the ground & it was about the same temp & colder. One day we were hunting around lunch time, doing a drive & it was about 22 & I was actually sweating with all the walking. The cold down here is painful.
