Lets see. 1st one was Maggie. Name was there when we got her, ( English Mastiff) and she was already 7 yrs old. Al Capone was our other English, and he was a tough one. LOL
Stella, the Fila, as she was tough but pretty and sweet with the family. Yogi was the Newfie, named after the bear. Princess Raven was the other Newfie, a Diva but stubborn.
Shotzy is a Cane Corso akita mix, and we originally named her Shentzy after the hyena in Lion King ( her coat was like a hyenas when we first rescued her) and the kids kept calling her shotzy. Carly was named already ( mini bulldog), Deisel is our Bull Mastiff, he was already named. I prefer original names and unique names for animals. We rescued a blind mastiff puppy and named her Keena. Had a wolf pup named Talla ( means wolf in Lakota) and a white english Bulldog named Ahote ( talks too much in Lakota). I have so many names of so many animals we rescued, LOL. I usually look up American Indian names and meanings that fit the personality of the dog.
