You need to distinguish between "mastiff" and "molosser". And maybe have a talk with a decent Sharpei breeder or two while you're at it since your pup is 1/2.
You are the nicest person on this post, you aren't trying to make me feel like I'm an idiot who knows nothing about dogs, and you aren't saying she's not a mastiff. Thank you
lol, an AKC book said that the Sharpei is a mastiff? well then again the AKC claims that the English bulldog that they show was used for bull baiting, lol. O.K fine, the Sharpei is an excellent family dog and is a mastiff. Congrats! go get one, let him loose in a dog park but make sure that dog park has children in it so you can get the full law suit.

She's only 1/4. Mom is a mix
I would say, however, that IF the OP indeed has an offspring of an AM, People on that forum will be deeply upset, and she may not get the warmest reception. There are only 8 approved breeders in this country, and they all ONLY sell their puppies with spay/neuter contracts prohibiting breeding. This is specifically to prevent AM's from falling into the hands of BYB's.
I find this super interesting as well! Good to know!I thought this was a very interesting item to mention, Jadotha!
But, Srmorris did say it was an "oopsie" breeding.
Fine, fine...just ignore everything I have to contribute. I submit to the mob mentality.
