Problem is now some breeders have been crossing them with Bull Mastiffs then going back (TOP CENTER PIC first post) and then giving the dogs roids. These dogs are not typical for the breed and cannot move that way these dogs were bred for. 3 of those last pics above are also crossed and not good examples of the breed. They are not muscle bound hulking beasts. A 180lb male is a huge dog in this breed.
Here is a typical 2 year old male. See how slim and well proportioned he is. The dogs that have been posted are not what a Beorboel is all about.

Here are some good examples of properly bred BBs.
See the head shape here. Not a Bull/Boxer face

Yep, those others are just too bulky.

trhanks so much i had no idea of what there suppose to look like i know something was wrong but i guess as they get more poplar the breed changes
so what your say is a good amount of these dog r mixes it kinda reminds me if the fake pitbull(american bully breed that r know 100-150lbs)

oh ya your baby is beautiful :p

Yep, those others are just too bulky.

so based on what u told me r BB suppose to b as agile as CC because in most BB breeders they say they r but the way they dogs look it tells me something different

Yes a SAB is agile fluid moving the walk is a gate not a plodding ground pounding plop. Jade can jump over 6 feet from a stand still and she is just 10 months old. These dogs are true working dogs. They pull carts guard the home, children or flock. Hunt food and keep the kids warm at night. those other dogs are wat we are calling Mastodon Boerboels, crossed with bully dogs and fed or injected steroids. Those crushers you posted would fail in actual farm dog work. They could do a few chores and look good but the purpose of the dog is lost. The picture of the dog I posted with me in it is Jade's daddy. Here is Jade now.

Smooth and fluid, no bulk to hold her back, but enough muscle to be imposing and usable. The Farmers Dog "Boer Boel". Not a couch hound or muscle head.

I don't think the breed is on the downhill road just yet. There are lots of breeders calling out the names of these rouge breeders and letting folks know what's going on. Just be cautious in your choice and check the breeders parent dogs. Don't just go by how the puppy looks or what the paperwork says. If they can't produce at least one parent and the contact info for the other then you should move on to the next breeder. I waited about 3 or 4 years to get Jade. I researched then contacted people and the breeder I chose was in Texas but I had a bad feeling so I decided to wait. Well I have a close friend that lives up here on the mountain and she got into the Boerboel after some bad heartbreaks with Great Danes. She brought me the father to see him then I went to her home and met the mother. I was sold. and she traded me Jade for a computer system with support. Jade is not papered or SAB registered but I know what I have and am happy with her.
Don't give up on the Boerboel, we are not beat yet.

This is our family litter.
Try this trick with a litter of pups. 6 pups mother and father, up and attention.

That one is Fida she roams free on her property in Greece. I would love to have her or any of her pups in a hot second. I speak with her owner on FaceBook sometimes and he explains to me about the true SAB and the best way to develop them is just to feed them and let them roam around the country side. He doesn't use treadmills or heavy exercise or any other BS, just let nature do it.

wow how cool is that but does that if mean u live in the city that a BB will not b as well develop as they should b? because i dont want to make non happy r under develop dog, with my cc's we decided to move to a much better place cuz i felt they need the place, it was different with just my dane(she only eats n sleeps lol) but my cc's go ster crazy lol n its hard the find a field to our selfs, so if BB r more of a field dog im scared i may not have what it takes :(
