Oh, and for a size comparison Elliott around 80 lbs and Roly is just under 60 lbs.

I had to laugh at Roly with the frisbee lol. Looks like he fetches about like Apollo does!

Thanks everyone, I love the fence too. Roly's fetching ability is directly tied to how many of the objects I have. If I have two identical toys, like tennis balls, then Roly will get the toy and bring it back, dropping the one in his mouth when he sees that I am holding another. Now if there is only one toy, especially one he loves to play with then he doesn't bring it back unless I have very tempting treats to bribe him with. He is actually very good at fetch with tennis balls, bouncy rubber toys on a rope and similar sized toys, he can even catch them in his mouth when I throw it near his head. When I used to try playing fetch with him when he was little he would go get the toy and bring it back to chew on next to me or in my lap, ignoring any other toy I would try to tempt him with, so I consider this a nice improvement.

I can hardly wait to fence in a chunk of the lot for the dogs so they can do this more. And so the stupid neighbours dog stays away from the runs cause Hemi is getting more than a little testy with him.

Mary - it is so nice not having to worry about our neighbors dog also. I did not realize exactly how nice it would be until we had the fence up. I recommend getting your fence up as soon as you can, you won't regret it a bit. The only issue I have is my brother and his friends forgetting to close the gates but winter vacation will be over soon so its only a temporary problem.

I haven't posted any pics for a while, Roly started getting acne a few weeks ago and his chin and lips have been looking pretty bad. It's a little better now but it still looks painful. I hoping its the juvenile acne that will resolve itself when he's done growing, it showed up around the time he turned 6 months. He's 7 months on the 22nd and 71 lbs, a little small but he seems to be growing steadily.

He's looking great! Do you use stainless steel bowls? If not, get some and make sure to wash them rather frequently. It'll help with the acne :)

Thanks you guys. Yeah, I use stainless steel bowls and I try to was his face with a 50:50 solution of hydrogen peroxide and water after I feed him (he eats raw) or if his mouth is really slobbery.

Plus, he always seems so clean and shiny...(or maybe I'm just used to scraping mud off of my dog, LOL.)

Musicdeb - Roly's lip gets caught on his lower teeth every once in a while due to his underbite. I always think its so cute but its hard to photograph because he fixes it pretty quickly, I call it his Elvis impression.
NYDDB - Rolex does have an unusually shiny coat that can make it appear clean but don't let that fool you he is usually digging through dirt and running in mud also. He drives me crazy whenever he walks past a patch of dirt because he loves to crouch in it then run in circles through it, every single time.

Apollo chews on his lips like that. He doesn't have an underbite either. I swear its deliberate......I'll have to see if I can catch a picture.

Roly's such a cutie!
